Car & truck insurance

Protection against crippling financial losses and inconvenience of being without transportation.

LIABILITY COVERAGE

The liability section covers your financial responsibility for injuring others and damaging their property in a car accident. If you're sued, it also pays your defense and court costs. Florida sets a minimum coverage level for bodily injury at 10,000 per person, 20,000 per accident. Property damage is set for a minimum of 10,000. The higher your limits, the more protection we will have.

MEDICAL PAYMENTS COVERAGE

If you were injured in an accident, Medical Payments Coverage would pay reasonable medical and funeral expenses up to specified limits for covered persons. Most states do not require this coverage, but it provides excellent coverage at an affordable price. The cost will correspond to the limits you select. There are no deductibles or copays so that this coverage can pay from the first dollar of incurred, covered expenses.

COLLISION AND COMPREHENSIVE COVERAGE

This part covers the cost of repairing your auto after an accident or if it's damaged by fire, water, hail, when you hit an animal, or if your vehicle gets stolen. You may also choose to have coverage for towing, car rental, or medical payments.

UNINSURED/UNDERINSURED MOTOR VEHICLE COVERAGE

Uninsured Motorist Coverage will pay for damages when you are injured in a car accident caused by another person who does not have sufficient liability insurance. Medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost wages are examples of bodily injury damages.

CAR RENTAL

Rental Reimbursement pays the cost of renting a replacement vehicle if your car is disabled after an accident, so you don’t have to interrupt your daily routine.

EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE

Emergency Road Service provides costs incurred for towing your vehicle to a repair facility, mechanical labor at the place of breakdown when your vehicle becomes disabled, pulling your vehicle out of a location where it is stuck, delivery of gas or oil, assistance with changing a tire, a jumpstart and locksmith services.

Points on Your License

Your driving history is a significant factor in how your risk is viewed and how your premium gets calculated. You can have up to 3 points removed from your license in Florida by taking an online 4 hour Basic Driver Improvement course. Points stay on your license for 3 years.

You can order a copy of your Florida driving record for a $15 fee.

PROPERTY DAMAGE LIABILITY

That’s where this coverage can help, with reimbursements for medical and hospital expenses, lost income, services you would normally do yourself, funeral expenses, child care expenses. You’re typically covered regardless of who was at fault.

COLLISION

Beware of Thiefs

Comprehensive coverage comes in handy with motorcycle insurance! According to insurance companies, one in every five motorcycles become the subject of theft claims; it is presumed that almost ¼ of that figure involves fraudulent claims. Most stolen bikes are Hondas, and the least are Harleys. According to the NICB, Florida is the second state in the US (after California) with the greatest threat of theft to motorcyclists.

Collector Car Insurance

There's a big difference between classic car insurance policies and regular use policies, including cost. Classic car insurance or collector car insurance can save you a significant amount of money and increase your coverage because traditional auto insurance carriers are geared towards insuring a larger volume of vehicles. Vehicles must be at least 30 years old to qualify for antique or historic designation in Florida.

Classic cars can also include:

  • Exotic autos new and old
  • Muscle cars
  • Sports cars of all ages
  • Rare or desirable cars

We understand what classic car owners want and need to protect their investment.
